CORE Education is excited to announce its position as a finalist in the Kenexa Best Workplaces Awards 2012 in the Small-Medium workplace category.
Finalists are selected based on the results of an anonymous, comprehensive survey completed by the organisation’s staff. Over 70 CORE staff completed the survey, which consisted of 60 questions around 13 categories, and asked for opinions on a range of topics including the way one’s team operates to the culture of the organisation.
Having previously completed the survey in 2010 and being a finalist for the Small-Medium workplace category that same year, the CORE Executive Team is pleased with the organisation’s ability to maintain the high level of satisfaction as CORE evolves.
“CORE has almost doubled in size since the last time we completed this survey, so for the Executive, the completion of this survey in 2012 acts as a ‘health check’ on levels of satisfaction and engagement in working for us", says CORE CEO Ali Hughes. “While the completion of this survey has identified key issues for us to focus on and provides clear direction on how we can improve, it’s gratifying to see that CORE staff continue to be overwhelmingly satisfied and proud of the way we operate", Ms. Hughes added.
The winners will be announced at a black tie event in Auckland on 1 November, and awards will be presented to winners of the organisation size categories, most improved workplaces and an overall winner.
CORE Education is a not-for-profit professional learning and development, research and educational thought leadership organisation. CORE has preferred provider status with the Ministry of Education.
