CORE's Warren Hall was interviewed by Newstalk ZB's Michael Sergel for his opinion on the use of devices in the classroom. The article on the Newstalk ZB website investigates the cost of the Bring Your Own Device policy being rolled out in schools in New Zealand. Warren's point was that schools should be encouraging the use of devices that best suits students' needs, not just the most convenient. Often tablets could be of better service to the student than a laptop.
Warren was interviewed because of a recent blog post he contributed to the CORE blog: Device choice in schools driven by the 'write things'?
