Event Coordinator

An opportunity is now available for an Event Coordinator. The person we are looking for will have previous experience in event organisation, and have exceptional organisation and communication skills who can plan, coordinate and manage event logistics.

This role reports to the Events Manager and will be working closely with the Marketing, Administration and a small Events team.

Key areas of responsibilities include:

  • Event planning.

  • Internal and external communication.

  • Event project management.

  • Monitoring budgets and cost management.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Proven experience in event organisation.

  • Demonstrated success in event project management.

  • Exceptional organisation and planning abilities.

  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task and remain calm under pressure.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

  • Willing to ‘go the extra mile’ (particularly at peak event times).

  • Knowledge of the education industry would be an advantage, but not a requirement.

If you have the drive to work independently to ensure successful events, within a small events team,  this would be a great role for you.
