EDtalks update

The video record of the March 2010 EDtalks symposium is being uploaded regularly in the symposium channel on the EDtalks website, with the four speakers from the "Living and Learning in the cloud" theme; Donald Clark, Mark Osbourne, Toni Twiss and the late Paul Reynolds, going up in June.

Jenny Keeton has been engaged as a part time production coordinator so the EDtalks collection of videos by and for educators will be further enriched over the winter.

UNESCO funds videos

UNESCO funding is behind a series of motivational and inspirational videos CORE Education will be filming featuring young leaders from a range of cultures.

CORE Education Digital Production and Programme Manager Jedd Bartlett applied successfully to the New Zealand National Commission for UNESCO Contestable Activity Fund for funding.

The event organised by kids for kids – KidsCongress – marked its decade this year with the theme “Take a Break and Celebrate”.
