Professional profile

Jane is the online content editor on the Enabling e-Learning website, and works in the Blended e-Learning team as an online facilitator.

Jane brings  a background of ten years experience in primary school teaching. She has worked across all levels in the classroom and in middle management as a team leader, school-wide ICT PD leader, and ICT PD cluster facilitator. 

Before joining CORE Education in 2011, Jane worked as an online editor and project manager on a number of websites including TKI. This work included creating online resources for teachers and students, working with video, writing web based content and overseeing the web development process.

Jane has facilitated cluster projects with both primary and secondary schools in Wellington across focused on developing enterprise in the curriculum. She is excited the new opportunities e-Learning provides to engage and improve teacher practice, and student learning outcomes.

Expertise

Jane is interested and experienced in creating online resources for teaching and learning. She is excited by the opportunities the online environment provides. 

She enjoys working with teachers and supporting them in professional development, particularly related to using ICT as a tool to improve learning outcomes.
