The ELN is a group of high performing leaders, who are currently in, or are ready to take on, their first management role. Typically participants have a few years of teaching experience and have been identified by their peers as possessing the capacity to lead ‘beyond the classroom’.
Overall, the ELS aims to fast-track the leadership development of high-potential candidates, and ensure they are equipped for the task of educational transformation.
The first Emerging Leaders' Summit was run in Wellington in March 2012, and from that meeting an enthusiastic group is connected using the Emerging Leaders Summit Facebook group.
Another Emerging Leaders' Summit is planned for 2013, and there will also be other national and regional F2F networking opportunities throughout the year. Keep informed register your interest here to receive specific information about ELN activities.
