CORE’s Educator Tour Programmes provide the opportunity for educators to visit a range of New Zealand schools to observe and experience examples of teaching and learning for the 21st century, incorporating effective use of new technologies.
The tours focus on promoting the benefits to the teachers of firsthand experience in the New Zealand education system. Participants have the opportunity to witness the New Zealand way of using ICT in schools to advance education for excellence, creativity, and interactions between teachers using new technology. The programme highlights the New Zealand development of curriculum and pedagogy for a 21st century education. Visits to local schools are supplemented with presentations and workshops from leading educators.
Programmes can be tailored for educators in all sectors of the education system, including; principals, senior leaders, teachers and boards of trustees members.
