Daniel Birch has been leading change in NZ schools for nearly 20 years.
In more recent years, Daniel has been leading the way as principal at Hobsonville Point Primary School, Auckland. During that time, the school has hosted over 4000 visitors from across NZ and around the world, all very curious to witness and experience the school’s innovative practice and use of flexible learning spaces.
Hobsonville Point Primary School pride themselves on learning that is co-constructed with the students, giving many autonomy over how they design their learning to both grow and challenge.
Hobsonville Point Primary’s doors opened in 2013 with just 21 students - that number has now climbed to 600.
