CORE Enterprise: about Education for Enterprise
CORE Achieve's Enterprise is a very successful programme for developing an enterprising spirit in our young people.
‘Enterprise’ is all about thinking outside the square and is one of the four future focus issues in the New Zealand curriculum document. Education for Enterprise (E4E) is a vehicle for implementing the curriculum and is a refreshing approach to teaching and learning across all curriculum areas that prepares young New Zealanders to be ‘creative, energetic and enterprising’.
Education for Enterprise(E4E):
- builds on and enhances 21st century teaching and learning practices
- makes learning real and purposeful
- encourages creativity and the generation of ideas
- provides an environment to act on those ideas
- provides value to both students and the community through connections and partnerships
CORE Education provides schools with professional development opportunities assisting them with the development of an enterprising school culture and implementingE4E across the curriculumareas.
