CORE Education was contracted to New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) to deliver a two-year Education for Enterprise (E4E) project within a cluster of five Christchurch secondary schools, looking to create opportunities for students to demonstrate enterprising attributes and skills through the utilisation of new technologies in authentic learning environments.

Through the support from CORE Education staff, each cluster school engaged and led their staff in ways that Education for Enterprise can be incorporated into existing professional learning opportunities for implementing the New Zealand Curriculum. Students undertook authentic learning experiences through mutually beneficial school/community relationships. Teachers engaged in professional learning opportunities in E4E and shared their own challenges and accomplishments.
