Early Years Enable Workshop: Engaging Pasifika fanau/whānau

Learn how to create a collaborative culture in your centre by strengthening relationships between fanau/whānau, educators, and learners. Before the workshop, you will have the opportunity to share what interests you about fanau/whānau involvement, including any questions or concerns you may have.

In this Early Years Enable Workshop you will learn about:

  • Pasifika diversity and cultural perspectives
  • ways to establish and sustain deeper relationships with Pasifika fanau
  • how to create time and space for meaningful fanau involvement.

By the end of the workshop you will be able to:

  • enhance and extend relationships with Pasifika fanau
  • identify and plan for fanau involvement
  • advocate for Pasifika learners and fanau at a centre level.

You will be invited to share and discuss your new insights, satisfaction, and successes in the weeks following the workshop.
