CORE Achieve includes a range of courses for teachers, providing quality professional development and support using a combination of online and face-to-face approaches.

CORE Education organises a number of educational conferences and events throughout New Zealand.

New Zealand Curriculum sites and communities includes NZ Curriculum Online, Key Competencies Online, Middling schooling, and Senior secondary guides.

The Leadership Programme (2010–2013) is a Ministry of Education funded professional learning programme supporting the development of leadership within early childhood services.

The Targeted Professional Development Programme (2010–2013) is Ministry of Education funded. It operates in specific locations in New Zealand where communities have the most to gain from high quality early childhood services.

EDtalks is a free database of video interviews with leading educators and thinkers. This steadily growing collection features New Zealand and international educators talking about learning.

The Educational Positioning System (EPS) is a comprehensive, web-based, self-review tool for whole school development.

The Ministry of Education has commissioned CORE Education to conduct an independent evaluative study of the impacts on schools, teachers, students and their families of the co-location and relocation of schools after the Christchurch earthquake of February 2011.

Infants and Toddlers (2010–2013) is a Ministry of Education funded online professional learning and networking programme.

KidsCongress™ is a unique, award-winning technology and learning conference for 9-12 year olds and is open to all primary schools in New Zealand.

Following the significant and destructive earthquakes that struck Christchurch in February and June 2011, CORE Education was contracted by the Ministry of Education to scope, and report on the impact of the earthquakes on participation in early childhood education and gaps in education provision in east Christchurch.

Software for Learning informs and supports teachers in their selection and integration of software as part of a rich learning environment.

The Te Marautanga o Aotearoa programme is designed to assist schools, teachers and communities to implement Te Marautanga o Aotearoa—part of the national Curriculum. This is a Ministry of Education funded project.

The Blended e-Learning PLD Programme is designed to transition the existing framework from National Support Services for the ICT PD Cluster Programme, to a regional model consistent with PLD provision across priority areas.

The Digi-Advisers Programme aims to improve how teachers select and use digital content and software.

The e-Learning Planning Frameworks project will develop principal and teacher planning and practice frameworks for the effective integration of ICT into learning and teaching.

Enabling e-Learning will be the Ministry of Education's online hub for ICT-related resources and programmes for New Zealand teachers and school leaders.

Te Toi Tupu Leadership and Assessment is an evidence based programme focussed on developing school leadership teams to lead and sustain effective change in their school.

Te Toi Tupu Literacy and English learning in Years 1-8 is an evidenced based programme focussed on improved school instructional, organisational, and evaluative capabilities in effective literacy practice.

The Aspiring Principals' Programme 2011 is designed to develop leadership focused on improving student learning outcomes in schools.

Te Manawa Pou is an online distance professional learning development programme for te reo Māori teachers from English-medium primary schools.

The Virtual Professional Learning and Development (VPLD) Programme will be available for selected teachers and principals.

This is a Royal Society of New Zealand programme funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation. CORE Education facilitators oversee the programme workshops, support, and an online community.

This Teaching and Learning Research Initiative (TLRI) funded research project will investigate ways of enhancing children’s learning journeys from ECE into school and explore the impact of transition practices over time.

Literacy learning in e-learning contexts: Mining the New Zealand action research evidence is a project sponsored by TLRI. Grant holders are Vince Ham and Anne Hatherly (CORE Education), Sue McDowall (NZCER), Ronnie Davey (UC).

The Virtual Learning Network (VLN) supports the concept of classrooms without walls, where students and educators have the flexibility to connect with their classes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

CORE Education coordinates the Young Enterprise Scheme (YES) on behalf of the Young Enterprise Trust for Canterbury.
