Daphne currently project manages TMoA Online - one of two projects making up the National Curriculum Online Project. With the support of Justin Roberts, they manage the TMoA online website, ensuring it provides ongoing support to Māori medium teaching and learning settings with matters pertaining to Te Marautanga o Aotearoa.

Daphne has had a number of roles in a variety of CORE contracts over the years, including: team leader of the CORE TMoA Implementation project team, online editor in the QTR&D: Quality Teaching Research and Development project and a national facilitator in the ICTPD project.

Before starting at CORE Daphne taught in bilingual and immersion Māori units, lectured in Hamilton, and also worked as an RTLB (Resource teacher: Learning and behaviour) and has taught in both bilingual and rumaki (immersion) units in Rotorua.

Daphne is a great fit for her role as it requires an 'approachable, personable, dependable' nature. She enjoys building networks and relationships that are supportive and reliable and enable her to provide support for others.
