Jane started with CORE Education in February 2011. She works as an online content editor, currently on the Enabling e-Learning website, and as a content writer on the CORE Achieve programme.

Jane has a background in primary school teaching, working across all levels in the classroom as well as leading a team, leading school-wide ICT PD, and working as an ICT PD cluster facilitator.

Before joining CORE Education, Jane worked as an online editor and project manager on a number of websites including TKI. This role included writing web based content, creating online resources for teachers and students, working with video, and overseeing the web development process.

Jane has facilitated cluster projects with both primary and secondary schools in Wellington across focused on developing enterprise in the curriculum. She is excited the new opportunities eLearning provides to engage and improve teacher practice, and student learning outcomes.

Expertise: 

Jane is interested and experienced in creating online resources for teaching and learning. She is excited by the opportunities the online environment provides. 

She enjoys working teachers and supporting them in professional development, particularly related to using ICT as a tool to improve learning outcomes.
