Jane has a wide and varied range of experiences and skills all grounded in a passion and enthusiasm for education. Jane has been a primary school teacher in Australia and New Zealand before moving into the area of teacher professional development. Jane joined CORE Education in 2007 firstly as an e-Fellow and then taking up her current role with the National Curriculum project. Within this role Jane advises on how to present information online to best suit different audiences, puts forward proposals for improved website functionality, and creates content. As part of her role in creating content Jane produces, edits and publishes digital stories, enabling schools around New Zealand to share their curriculum innovations. Jane also manages the EDtalks website, a collection of video interviews, discussions, and presentations featuring thought leaders, innovative educators and inspirational learners. The EDtalks videos are produced and published for educators everywhere by CORE Education.
