Personal statement:

"I was born in the heart of Ngatiporou (Ruatoria), and I am the youngest of seven children.

I moved to Lower Hutt at the ripe old age of 9 and did the majority of my schooling and training there.

I have two girls aged 11 and 21.

I split my professional life spending half of my week as Deputy Principal at Te Ara Whanui Kura Kaupapa Māori and half of my week in the CORE Blended e-Learning team.

I enjoy reading, swimming, walking my dogs, time with my girlfriends and whanau time."
