I am the mother of three beautiful children and I work hard to maintain a balance between work and home. Whānau are important in my life and I model this for students and teachers. Whānau are the building blocks of Māori communities and I endeavour to help colleagues understand how and why they too should use this in their work with Māori students.
As a new member to the CORE Education team I hope to share and extend my knowledge within education. I am passionate about working with young people; unleashing their potential and encouraging them to be absolutely awesome in all that they do.
My personal and professional love is in art and music. My goal is to further extend my skills in te reo Māori and help others to tap into the potential of Māori learners, helping them achieve their best.
