Teams from Christchurch Boys’ High School (Revolution) and Ashburton College (Wear-It) won this year’s YES Canterbury Microfilm Digital Print Business Card Competition.
The teams are participating in the Canterbury Young Enterprise Scheme and judge Nelson Hubber from Microfilm Digital Print commented that the standard this year was very high.
“It was hard to pick the winners but I’ve settled on these two as they are both distinctive and portray a strong product image,” he says.
On Monday 11 May the Revolution team visited Microfilm Digital Print and enjoyed a tour of the print facilities and discussed the printing of their free business cards, together with other printing requirements that Microfilm Digital Print had kindly offered to print at a substantial discount.
Unfortunately the ‘Wear-It’ team from Ashburton College was not able to visit, however they are also arranging the free printing of their business cards and other requirements with Nelson Hubber.
The next major YES event is the Copthorne Hotel Durham Street Business Presentation (Oral) Competition Finals to be held on 3 June, YES Canterbury regional co-ordinator Sonia Eustace says.
