Social Media a hot topic for educators

Social media appears to be a hot topic among educators right now. The last three CORE Education Breakfast Seminars, all themed around social media use in the classroom, have attracted record crowds of over 100 people.

In Christchurch recently, Paul Rodley from Christ's College spoke to just over 100 educators about various digital technologies and the schools successful adoption of them into classroom practice.

A Professional learning at a level, time and place to suit you

CORE Achieve is a series of self-paced, blended, professional learning courses for teachers, designed to positively impact classroom practice. Since its introduction at the beginning of this term, the course has been taken up by schools and individuals across Australia and New Zealand.

The CORE blended approach to professional learning uses a combination of online technologies and face-to-face approaches to enable educators gain confidence and skills that will positively impact your students' learning.

International learning and sharing embraced at CORE

Keeping the education sector abreast of the rapidly changing developments in technology and how it can positively integrate into modern classrooms is a key CORE Education objective.

Members of the team are often sought out internationally to present and facilitate, both nationally and internationally; sharing the knowledge and expertise base we continue to build. The International Conference on Teaching and Learning with Technology 2012 (iCTLT) in Singapore next March has just confirmed that Mary Anne Mills will front two spotlight presentations.
