CORE Education has built a reputation for event management in New Zealand. It hosts the major conferences for educators in New Zealand.

• ULearn: an annual conference focussed on integrating new technologies to empower learning and transform leadership, Ulearn provides a package of professional learning that can be effectively and directly applied to teaching and learning environments. It caters for all educators, from early years, primary, secondary and tertiary education. Ulearn is a highly relevant, inclusive practical conference that includes a comprehensive programme of preconference workshops.
• Learning@School: a week-long conference in Rotorua aimed at ICT PD cluster school principles, facilitators and teachers, ICT PD Kura Kaupapa Maori and whare kura personnel, school leaders and teachers from previous cluster projects, MOE and government staff with ICT policy responsibility, contractors to the MOE who work with schools, technology advisers who work alongside schools, researchers who work alongside schools.
• He Waka Eke Noa: provides professional learning and development opportunities to educators within the Māori medium sector catering for a range of kaupapa Māori initiatives within twenty first century learning environments.
• EDtalks Symposium: a day-long symposium designed for thought leaders to workshop through issues facing education and how to move forward.
• CORE Breakfast seminars: these popular breakfasts followed by a presentation from an influential, entrepreneurial, or expert in the area of education or related fields.

CORE Education is committed to supporting schools and centres in the process of continuous improvement, including strategies to facilitate self-review, and audits of IT networks and infrastructure.

We offer the following services:

• Educational Positioning System (EPS): is a comprehensive web-based self-review process for whole school development, created jointly by CORE Education and Australian education consultant Dr Julia Atkin. It includes a muli-layered online tool to capture the input of staff, students and community members.
• Facilitation: CORE’s experienced facilitation staff can work with principals and senior staff to identify the ideas and issues raised in a review process, and to assist in the implementation of action-plan agendas with staff.
• IT audits: CORE’s expert ICT team is conversant with school IT needs. Our IT network infrastructure audits come with a comprehensive report, and with advice on the best options available for improving your network using the latest and most cost-effective technology and systems.
