Title: Differences That Make A Difference

Abstract:

Now at the end of the first decade of 2000, teachers and administrators are beginning to grasp the challenge that 21st century leading and learning present to the industrial structures and practices of an industrial system. This session will focus on the findings from a 3 year longitudinal research study conducted with teachers and administrators in four schools engaged in advancing 21st century leading and learning. A number of practices and structures were found particularly significant creating difference that made a difference to student learning. Session participants will have the opportunity to examine the implications of these findings for their own practice.
