Skye is a qualified Public Health-Health Promotion practitioner. Before coming to CORE Education, Skye worked in Public Health including National Policy and Advocacy, Politics and the Public Service. Skye spent four years in the Ministry of Education in a number of teams including; Sector Enablement and Support, Business Communications and Te Uepū Reo Māori. Skye brings a wealth of knowledge in Māori education and the machinery of Government.
Skye has been a staunch advocate for Māori, addressing inequalities and disparities. Her passion in this mahi is a huge advantage to CORE Education.
Skye is a mother. Her daughter Justice is 22 years of age and completing a Business Degree at Whitireia in Porirua, Wellington.
