About CORE Education

We are a forward‐thinking, values‐driven social enterprise with a reach across Aotearoa New Zealand.

Our mahi is dynamic, and it matters. We are passionate about the role learning can play in building an equitable and thriving Aotearoa. We want to see a future where all learners experience education success, regardless of who they are, where they live or the challenges they face.

Our people are more than just colleagues – we're whānau. Driven by the purpose of our work, our kaimahi co-design and deliver a range of impactful learning solutions and professional development services to leaders and teachers in early years settings, kura and schools. We also work with the Government, iwi and communities, corporates, the tertiary sector, and other organisations where their aspirations for learning align with our equity kaupapa.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, highly motivated, and professional individual to join our Te Aho Tūhono | Engagement group as a Content Marketing Specialist.

This role will be an integral to the business in being both a key contributor to our marketing team and working across the business to identify and tell our impact stories, create value content and enhance the brand perception. We’re looking for someone who will be the ‘go-to’ content developer in the marketing team. You’ll work closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist and support two marketing coordinators to execute content-led campaigns.

Who are we looking for

With a minimum of six years experience in a similar role, you'll be a great writer. You’ll also come equipped with hands-on knowledge to create amazing content that resonates with customers across social media, email, digital channels and traditional channels.

Bringing your creativity and experience, you’ll lead and execute innovative campaigns and campaign scheduling, collectively brainstorming with the wider marketing and comms team, plus staff in other areas of the business. You’ll understand CORE’s strategic direction, be able to distil into tactics that meet CORE’s marketing goals, have a critical eye for detail and exceptional copywriting skills across digital and traditional channels.

You will be someone who:

  • has experience in working with different cultural perspectives
  • can work closely with others to produce blogs and podcasts
  • brings some knowledge, skill, and interest in te reo Māori, and is prepared to learn more
  • demonstrates project management skills
  • is well organised, a problem solver and solutions focused.

This role is based in our Ōtautahi office.
