Technology is continuously altering the way our students learn, and our education system is challenged with adapting to keep pace. We are changing how we equip our students to participate, create and thrive in this fast-evolving, digital world. Zoe Timbrell and Vivian Chandra will share what OMGTech! is doing to ensure students are prepared for this rapidly changing world.
This session will be of interest to primary and junior secondary teachers who are seeking a meaningful context for digital technologies learning, as well as senior leaders and Board of Trustee members.
This will be a hands-on and informative workshop where you will build a better understanding of the key principles of the new Digital Technologies strand and have a go at fun learning experiences you can use with your class.

Zoe Timbrell is the Founder and General Manager of OMGTech! She has been instrumental in developing the OMG! strategy and establishing strategic partnerships which have led to the successful design and execution of their award winning Rangers workshops and programmes. Zoe has a strong ability to translate strategy into meaningful, effective action, and is passionate about bringing the OMG! vision to students across New Zealand.
