Using the research, articles, and reports available in the public arena, Wing explores the impact of a number of ICT strategies implemented in the New Zealand school sector over the last ten years. His review is guided by the following questions: To what extent have the ICT strategies had any impact on learning?; Have they affected teachers’ knowledge, skills, attitudes, confidence and pedagogies?; Have teachers gained any research skills as a result of these strategies?; Have research findings and exemplary practices been effectively disseminated to the wider communities?
